Returns, Cancellations & Refunds Policy

We want you to love your lighting. While we stand firmly behind the quality of every product we sell, we understand that you may occasionally change your mind or find that a fixture isn't the perfect fit for your space.

To make the process as clear and straightforward as possible, our policy is divided into four simple sections: Cancellations, Change of Mind Returns, Damaged or Incorrect Items, and Key Exclusions.

1. Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact our customer service team immediately to minimize unnecessary shipping charges.   • Before Shipment: Orders cancelled prior to leaving our warehouse will receive a full refund within 3 working days.

  • After Shipment: If your order has already shipped, it cannot be cancelled in transit. It will instead be treated under our 30-Day Return Policy (see Section 2), and return shipping charges and applicable fees will apply.

2. 30-Day "Change of Mind" Returns

We  offer a voluntary 30-Day Return Policy to give you peace of mind with your purchase.

How to Start a Return

If you wish to return an eligible item for any reason, you must contact us at sales@italian-lighting-center.com with your order number within 30 days of receiving your delivery. Our team will provide you with detailed instructions and authorization to process your return. Returns must be authorized by our customer service team before being sent back.

Return Packaging & Condition

To qualify for a refund, items must be returned in "Like New" condition, meaning they show absolutely no visible signs of wear, installation, or use.

  • What's Required: where possible, all original packaging, internal padding, parts, and accessories must be included.

  • Installation Exclusions: Fixtures that have been installed, wired, or subsequently removed are not eligible for a return.

  • Inspection: Once your items arrive at our distribution center, they will be thoroughly inspected. Items returned with visible wear, damage, or missing components may be rejected. Rejected items can be shipped back to you at your own expense.

Shipping Costs & Fees

  • Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping costs.

  • Refused Deliveries: If a delivery is refused at the door, any return freight charges incurred by us will be deducted directly from your final refund.

  • Restocking Fee: we do not charge a restocking fee. The restocking fee is $0.00/ £0.00 .

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Your statutory consumer rights protect you if an item arrives faulty or not as described. We take transit damage very seriously and require immediate documentation to resolve issues with our couriers.

  • At Delivery: Please inspect the outer packaging immediately upon arrival. Note any visible damage directly when signing for the delivery.

  • Reporting: Send clear photographs of the damage/incorrect item to sales@italian-lighting-center.com on the day of delivery.

  • Our Coverage: For verified defective, damaged, or incorrect merchandise, we will cover 100% of the return shipping costs or arrange a replacement at no charge to you.

  • Important Note: Please retain all original packaging. Damage that occurs after use or installation is not eligible for a refund unless explicitly covered under a manufacturer's warranty.

4. Key Exclusions & Non-Returnable Items

To maintain fair pricing and quality standards, the following items cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances:

  • Temporary or Commercial Use: Purchases intended for one-time, short-term, or temporary use are strictly non-refundable. This includes installations for trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, commercial events, or promotional displays.

  • Pre-Owned / Clearance: Products explicitly listed as certified pre-owned, refurbished, used, or final clearance items are sold as-is and cannot be returned.

  • Bespoke, customized, or made-to-order items (such as custom Murano glass colors, specific drop-lengths, or custom finishes): Custom designs and bespoke manufactured goods are not eligible for returns.
