A lovely traditional Venetian ‘scavo’ glass table lamp with a decorative black wire trim, hand-crafted on the famous glass-making island of Murano in the Venice lagoon. The amber shade gently diffuses the light for a soft and warm glow.

The Italian word ‘scavo’ translates as ‘dug up’ in English. A special chemical has been used to erode parts of the surface of this lovely light, to give it the appearance of having been having been buried for a long time - hence the name.

This finish is ideal for those who prefer a more traditional rustic look. Perfect for a country home or kitchen, the styling works just as well, however, in modern homes. Please contact us if you would like further information.
