An exquisite hand-crafted Murano chandelier featuring the characteristic arms of the "Rezzonico" style, with their small pieces of conjoined glass. The delicately draped leaves and floral decoration are very typical of the Venetian style too, as the glass-masters have long taken their inspiration from the flora of the Venetian lagoon. .

The Venetians call this colour "decoro oro". Tiny particles of 24 carat gold are worked into the glass while it is still hot. The glass master needs an extraordinary degree of skill to work it evenly into the molten glass
